08 Sep What’s a FWADA?
The City of Fort Worth is fortunate to have a community that offers a multitude of art museums and galleries featuring major local and national artists, as well as frequent newcomers. Fall Gallery Night, hosted by partners and members of the Fort Worth Art Dealers Association invites the community to come in touch with its unique cultural richness and the visual arts. Saturday, September the 12th, galleries and museums across town will welcome visitors with open doors and impressive works of art from a wide rang of exceptional artists. Make sure to take advantage of all that the evening has to offer and visit the many businesses and organizations listed in the Gallery Night program. Check out the FWADA webpage here for more information.
The Fort Worth Art Dealers Association promotes “clearly defined cooperation between the museums, the university art galleries, the non-profit exhibition spaces, and the art dealers, all of which are full working members of FWADA. To fulfill its stated mission to stimulate interest in the visual arts through educational programs, art scholarships, and art competitions, FWADA organizes, funds, and hosts exhibitions of noteworthy art. It sponsors the Fall Gallery Night for members and friends, as well as Spring Gallery Night.”
Next Saturday, September 12th, Artspace111 will host an open gallery event, pARTy, sponsored by Frost Bank and in collaboration with the Fort Worth Art Dealers Association Fall Gallery Night. FWADA, a unique arts organization, has once again collaborated with local Fort Worth museums, galleries, exhibition spaces, art dealers and retail businesses to host an evening of art and culture spanning across the city of Fort Worth. Participating locations will be displaying artwork on Saturday the 12th from around noon to 9p.m. Download the 2015 FWADA Gallery Night Program here and join us at Artspace111 in celebration of the creative community of Fort Worth.
