The gallery was transformed with tapestries from Uzbekistan and the the smells of the mediterranean cuisine from City Kitchen, as Carol McKay introduced her new book  Blood and Silk.   About the Author: Carol McKay, artist and cultural historian, earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from Texas Christian University, Fort Worth.    The recipient of numerous National Endowment of Arts and National Endowment of Humanities grants, her focus is the relationship of culture to social issues. Image of the Week! Jo LeMay Rutledge, Texas Ten Gallon   This image is currently hanging in the main gallery space from Rutledge's show entitled Farm to Market. A mixed media on board piece, the untraditional shaped canvas is quite the eye catcher! Artist Jo LeMay Rutledge will have artwork featured in the Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale in Denver, Colorado beginning January 8, 2011. The Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale is part of the National Western Stock Show and runs through January 23, 2011.
